Palatability: Good.
Nutritional value: Unknown, but probably comparably high protein to other legumes.
Safety: Unknown, but no problems observed when fed in small quantities.

A common decorative shrub.

Too slow growing to be cultivated primarily for fodder; but if grown as an ornamental, it can provide a reserve of fodder in case of need.
