Luganda: nsali nzungu

Fodder characteristics

Palatability: Good for goats .

Nutritional value: Probably typical for non-legume tree leaves.

Safety: No problems have been encountered, even when fed in large quantities.

Other characteristics/uses

The fruit and dense shade make it a popular compound tree, but it is unsuitable for agroforestry.

Comments

Very common in Central Uganda.
