Fodder characteristics

Palatability: Good for goats, reportedly suitable for cows.

Nutritional value: Expected to be high in protein (nitrogen-fixing legume).

Safety: No problems have been encountered.

Other characteristics/uses

Agroforestry: Suitable for soil improvement, but extent of competition with crops not known.

Comments

Very common as an ornamental in parklands, and occasionally in compounds. Easily grown from seed
